New users can sign up directly with Google, while existing users can connect their Google account via Account Settings. The feature inherits existing Google Workspace security policies such as 2FA and device management. Note that this is individual Google sign-in, not SAML SSO — organizations needing centralized membership governance should use SAML SSO with Google Workspace, available on Enterprise and Business Critical plans.
