NetBox Asset Lifecycle is now in public preview, extending NetBox from a documentation platform into a full procurement pipeline. It introduces native objects for Bills of Materials, Purchase Orders, Shipments, Spares, and RMAs, all driven by the existing NetBox infrastructure data model. BOMs are generated directly from the NetBox model, creating an auditable thread from approval through installation and into operations. Equipment deduplication, cable management, and an Install action for updating device status are included. A full REST API is available, with ERP integrations planned. The feature is currently available in the Premium tier of NetBox Cloud, with NetBox Enterprise support coming at GA.
