It is a great editor, or VSCode clone but on cloud. It main selling point is for the one who wish learn how to work in a cloud with different types of projects. Unfortunately it is still in beta and more is yet to come, also you might depend on Google terms for it.

In the Beta version, I both loved and hated it. It works best with the provided templates, but using different frameworks or stacks becomes a headache.
However, now it offers many more templates.

I’ve been using project idx since before it was even in public beta!
Its amazing and the waitlist was short.
