The days of stable employment in tech jobs as a career is over. I don't say this to scare you, but so you take some action to be less dependent on companies that couldn't care less about you! 

In this episode, I share some of the latest developments in my time coaching over 120 software professionals. One of the biggest things I've learned, is that practically everyone is miserable.

This year I have some exciting new announcements to make though - I'll be helping you escape the corporate grind! You CAN have a career in tech, but you have to step up, take more responsibility, and give up the delusion that corporate employment is a long-term strategy anymore. Those days sadly, are long behind us.

What does this word even means?
All I care about is <code>code</code> → <code>get paid</code>.
As long as I am getting paid good, its enough for me. I don’t care about moving “up” in roles even after decades of working in tech. I don’t aspire to be some sort of VP or whatever, being in meetings all day long and have stress levels through the roof, constantly needing to prove myself. This is a suckers game which only leads to health and mental issues.
All i care about is keep doing what I already do - coding - and only getting paid better and better for my provided services.
I don’t care about owning material and for me “success” is to be content and relaxed. A homeless person to me can be more “successful” than tech billionaires if he frames himself as content and pleased with life without much worries.

I would say this is a perspective on a reality in the US. An interesting one.
However, other markets might not as flexible to pursue a freelance career. But an interesting perspective nevertheless.

I already know this, but i’m an very shy and insecure person, i’m trying to deal with this.
