PreFlight Slicer Brings Added Part Strength Feature, And Many More

preFlight is a free, open source 3D printing slicer introducing several notable features: mixed support types on a single object, Nip & Tuck seam hiding, image embossing on print surfaces, smart bridging for counter-bored holes, and a side-view clipping plane preview. A standout feature called Interlocking Perimeters improves Z-axis layer bonding and part strength without changing layer heights, powered by a new perimeter generator called Athena. The slicer also embeds a full Python runtime in the slicing pipeline and offers multiple export pathways.
