Hopthru utilizes Timescale to power real-time transit analytics from a 1 TB table. They collect and analyze automated passenger counting (APC) data from transit agencies to help improve public transportation. With Hopthru's analysis suite, agencies can optimize their routes and network based on ridership data. They make use of TimescaleDB's performance capabilities and features like hypertables and continuous aggregates. Hopthru's future roadmap includes building a product called Hopthru Cleanse to improve data accuracy and help agencies achieve NTD certification.
