Powerful new developer tools increase the versatility of the Microsoft Quantum platform

Microsoft announces major updates to its Quantum Development Kit (QDK), an open-source toolkit for building quantum applications. The QDK now integrates with VS Code and GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted quantum programming, includes specialized toolkits for quantum chemistry and error correction, and supports multiple quantum languages including Q#, OpenQASM, Qiskit, and Cirq. The chemistry toolkit provides end-to-end workflows from classical preprocessing to quantum execution with built-in visualization and circuit optimization.
