ClickHouse has released PostgresBench, an open and reproducible benchmark for comparing managed PostgreSQL services. Built on pgbench with a TPC-B-like workload, it tests five services (Postgres managed by ClickHouse, AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, Neon, and Crunchy Bridge) at two instance sizes and two dataset scales (100 GB and 500 GB). The benchmark uses 256 concurrent clients, 10-minute runs, and reports TPS, average latency, P95, and P99. Results show Postgres managed by ClickHouse leading in TPS at both scales, with Crunchy Bridge second at 100 GB and Aurora second at 500 GB. All configurations, scripts, and results are publicly available for reproduction or challenge.
