A benchmark comparing MCP (Model Context Protocol) hello-world implementations across Java/Spring Boot, Go, Node.js, and Python (FastMCP) over 3.9 million requests. Java and Go tied for throughput at 1,624 requests/second, while Node.js reached 559 and Python only 292. Java also used the least CPU while delivering the highest throughput. Python's latency at 26.4ms was over 26x worse than Java's 835ms.
