Publisher Phoenix Games has acquired PopReach Games India, a mobile game studio specializing in live operations, in a deal valued at $9.8 billion. The acquisition includes popular mobile games like Smurf's Village and Brain Training's Peak app. Phoenix Games plans to leverage the studio to enhance its own live ops capabilities for free-to-play titles.
