After updating WSL, Podman failed to function and displayed an error (exit code 125). Various steps were taken including running `podman info`, verifying connections, checking and attempting to restart the VM, and finally removing and recreating the VM. None of these steps resolved the issue until the machine was rebooted, at which point the error disappeared.
