Planning Center is the newest Rails Foundation Contributing member

Planning Center, a church management software company serving 90,000+ churches worldwide, has joined the Rails Foundation as a Contributing member — the first new member of 2026. Founded in 2005 and built on Rails from day one, Planning Center runs a 'macroservice' (internally called 'Stonehenge') architecture where each product is its own Rails app. The bootstrapped, profitable company of 225 people has no outside investors and recently committed to transitioning to a non-profit structure.
