The Django project is moving forward with adopting Contributor Covenant 3 as its new Code of Conduct through a multi-step process. The first step is complete: new documentation has been merged outlining how community members can propose changes to the Code of Conduct via GitHub issues. The process includes community review by the CoC Working Group, broader feedback solicitation, and DSF Board approval for final changes. Step 2 (targeting March 15) will update the Enforcement Manual, Reporting Guidelines, and FAQs, while Step 3 (targeting April 15) will formally adopt Contributor Covenant 3 with working group amendments.
