Pixel battery drain still hasn't been fixed, but this might be why it's happening

Google's March Pixel update introduced a battery drain bug affecting Pixel 7 through Pixel 10 Pro devices. A Reddit user (in a now-deleted post) identified the likely cause: the update appears to prevent the CPU from entering Deep Doze, the power-saving mode that throttles performance and background activity when the phone is idle. Not all users are affected, and Google has not yet officially acknowledged the issue, though an Issue Tracker report has been filed.
