A startup called Equals tore down its own pitch deck after raising a $16 million Series A round. The deck has a bright and bold design and is divided into a pitch deck and a data deck. Equals makes a comprehensive argument for its software and outlines a number of use cases. The deck also simplifies the product by describing it as spreadsheets with database connections and collaboration. The product roadmap slide provides a great top-level view. However, there are areas for improvement, such as being mindful of the audience when including testimonials, providing more information about the market and go-to-market strategy, and being more specific in the goals outlined for using the raised funds.
