GitHub's Agent HQ now supports multiple AI coding agents including Claude by Anthropic and OpenAI Codex in public preview for Copilot Pro+ and Enterprise users. Developers can run different agents directly in GitHub, GitHub Mobile, and VS Code without context switching. The platform enables comparing agent approaches to the same problem, using different agents for architectural review, edge case detection, and implementation suggestions. All agent-generated changes appear as draft pull requests within existing workflows. Enterprise features include org-wide agent controls, code quality checks, automated review steps, and impact metrics dashboards. Additional agents from Google, Cognition, and xAI are planned.
