PHP or Hypertext Preprocessor is a general purpose scripting language. It was created in 1994 by Danish-Canadian programmer Rasmus Lerdorf. The best practices are the same for any language, but I will still mention a few. Indent and use white spaces for read ability. Look into using MAMP as a database.
