Generators are a powerful feature introduced in PHP 5.5 which allows you to iterate over a set of data without needing to create an array in memory. They provide a memory-efficient way to iterate through large sets of data by generating values on-the-fly.
This feature can also make it possible to write coroutines using the “yield” keyword, I guess most of us have head about PHP generators and the yield keyword.
I want to find out, does any body use this in their day-to-day PHP development? if so can you share it.
Also if anyone can share a real life use case on how it is been used it will be very helpful thank you.

I was really hoping for an article about a real life use case ^^

Generators are pretty useful if you want to implement some async/await like feature in PHP, for example, you can use that to copy the promise implementation of JS, and use generators for the async/await part.
But the main use case is to deal with memory intensive tasks, for example, if you need to proccess a really large text file, if you try to read it and then put its value in a variable, maybe you exceed the memory limit of a PHP application, so instead you can use generetors to just proccess one line of the file at time, so only one line is loaded into the memory at time.
Its very similar with the idea of calling the fetch method in a while loop instead of the fetchAll to read all the lines of a table in a memory efficient way.
