Finnish AI lab QuTwo, founded by former AMD Silo AI CEO Peter Sarlin, has reached a €325 million ($380M) valuation after closing a €25 million angel round. QuTwo's core product, QuTwo OS, is an orchestration layer routing tasks across classical, quantum, and hybrid architectures, with a focus on enterprise AI. The company has secured $23 million in committed revenue through design partnerships including Zalando. Sarlin deliberately avoided VC and strategic investors, opting for an angel round featuring high-profile backers like Yuri Milner, Xavier Niel, and founders from Skype, Supercell, and Wolt. The move reflects both Europe's push for sovereign tech alternatives and Sarlin's long-term, 5–10 year vision to build the leading AI company for the next computing paradigm out of Europe.
