Project Gemini, originally developed for Square Enix, was canceled due to a breakdown in communication and the studio’s inability to secure a content rider for upcoming project milestones. This lack of publisher commitment and future planning led to business uncertainty, ultimately affecting the project’s viability. Similarly, Project Bifrost was initially suspended following Gemini’s cancellation, as cash flow issues hindered further development.
