OTP 26.2.5.17 patch release fixes multiple bugs across compiler, crypto, erts, megaco, ssl, stdlib, tftp, and wx applications. Key fixes include: broken type inference for lists:mapfoldl/r in the compiler; static linking of OpenSSL 3.5+ on Windows in crypto; a critical ETS bug where ets:update_counter/4 and ets:update_element/4 could accept malformed default tuples causing ERTS crashes; a missing memory barrier on ARM and other weak-memory-ordering architectures in erts; a path traversal vulnerability (CVE-2026-21620) in the tftp module's undocumented root_dir option; and an incorrect ?FUNCTION_ARITY macro result for bracket-only patterns in stdlib.
