Paratus Group has launched Paratus Essential Access, a Starlink-powered satellite connectivity service targeting essential services in remote and underserved African communities. The service offers priority connectivity with preferential pricing to organizations such as hospitals, schools, law enforcement, emergency services, and food security initiatives. Currently available in seven African countries including Botswana, Kenya, and Zambia, it supports applications like telemedicine, remote learning, and emergency coordination, with rollout to additional territories planned.
