Paper is a modern GTK note-taking app for GNOME. Based around Markdown, the app supports text formatting, adding links, highlighting sections of text, inserting code blocks, and more. It lets you create notebooks (folders, if you will) where notes live. You can also easily create notes inside of notebooks too.
