ModRetro, the retro gaming startup founded by Palmer Luckey, is reportedly in talks to raise funding at a $1 billion valuation according to the Financial Times. The company launched its first product, the Chromatic — a Game Boy-style handheld — in 2024, and is working on additional devices including a Nintendo 64 replica. Separately, Luckey's defense tech company Anduril is reportedly seeking a new funding round at a $60 billion valuation.
