Paladin EnviroTech has acquired ICT, Ireland's first R2v3-certified IT asset disposition (ITAD) provider, completing a $70M (€60M) five-acquisition spree across nine months. The deal gives Paladin a foothold in Dublin, which hosts over half of Europe's colocation capacity and is a hub for hyperscale data centres. ICT processed over 2,000 tonnes of end-of-life electronics and destroyed 500,000+ data-bearing devices in the past year. Paladin's platform now spans the U.S., Netherlands, and Ireland, targeting the growing wave of hardware disposal driven by AI infrastructure expansion and tightening EU data regulations like GDPR. The company also positions itself in rare-earth magnet recovery, aligning with Western supply chain policy goals around critical materials.
