Oxfmt, a Rust-powered JavaScript code formatter compatible with Prettier, has reached beta. It claims 30× faster performance than Prettier and 3× faster than Biome without caching. Since the alpha release, it now supports a wide range of file formats (JS, TS, JSX, JSON, YAML, TOML, HTML, CSS, Markdown, GraphQL, and more), embedded language formatting, built-in import sorting, Tailwind CSS class sorting, package.json field sorting, a Node.js programmatic API, and migration tools from both Prettier and Biome. It passes 100% of Prettier's JS/TS conformance tests and is already adopted by projects like vuejs/core, vercel/turborepo, and getsentry/sentry-javascript.
