Supabase now offers a Metrics API that exports database telemetry in Prometheus format, enabling integration with any observability stack like Grafana Cloud, Datadog, or AWS Managed Prometheus. The API exposes roughly 200 Postgres performance metrics including CPU, memory, disk I/O, connection pools, and query performance, refreshed every minute. This allows teams to consolidate database metrics with their existing monitoring infrastructure, correlate database performance with application behavior, and set up custom alerts for connection saturation, resource pressure, replication lag, and query regressions.
