Amazon's generative AI-powered Alexa+ has reached over one million users during its early access phase, growing from 100,000 users in May 2025. The upgraded assistant offers more natural conversations, personalized interactions, smart home integration, and capabilities like email summarization and travel planning. Currently free during early access, it will remain free for Prime members but cost $19.99/month for non-Prime users after public launch. The service is available on select Echo Show devices and includes partnerships with services like OpenTable and Ticketmaster for actionable tasks.
