Oxide Computer Company announced a $100M Series B funding round led by USIT, more than doubling their total capital raised to $189M over six years. The company builds integrated hardware and software solutions for on-premises cloud computing, having developed everything from custom board designs and microcontroller operating systems to hypervisors and control planes. After shipping their first system two years ago and reaching general commercial availability, they're seeing accelerated customer adoption driven by transparency through podcasts, documentation, and open source code. The funding will help them scale manufacturing, system capabilities, and operations to meet growing enterprise demand for modern on-premises infrastructure.
