GitHub has added organization-level firewall management for Copilot cloud agent. Previously, the agent firewall was only configurable at the repository level by repository admins. Organization admins can now control firewall settings across all repositories, including toggling the firewall on/off, managing the recommended allowlist, adding organization-wide custom allowlist entries (e.g., internal package registries), and controlling whether repository admins can add their own allowlist entries. Default behavior preserves existing repository-level settings.
