Oracle has launched the Java Verified Portfolio (JVP), a curated collection of Oracle-supported Java tools, libraries, and frameworks. Announced alongside JDK 26, the initial portfolio includes JavaFX, the Helidon microservices framework, and the Java Platform extension for VS Code. The JVP aims to provide enterprise-grade, Oracle-governed components with streamlined licensing, supply chain integrity, and roadmap transparency. It is free for OCI Java workloads and Java SE subscription customers, with many releases free to all users. More technologies will be added over time.
