Oracle's co-CEO Mike Sicilia claimed during Q3 earnings that AI coding tools are enabling smaller engineering teams to ship more complete products faster, positioning Oracle to avoid the so-called 'SaaSpocalypse' that may disrupt smaller SaaS vendors. Oracle has built three new CX applications and a website generator using AI, and is embedding AI agents into existing product suites. Financially, Q3 revenue hit $17.2 billion (up 22% YoY), with AI infrastructure revenue up 84% to $4.9 billion. The company holds $553 billion in remaining performance obligations and is financing datacenter expansion through customer upfront payments and bring-your-own-hardware deals, projecting $90 billion in revenue for FY27.
