Opera GX, the gaming-focused web browser, is now available on Linux via the Canonical Snap Store and Flathub, making installation easier than before. It launched on Linux in March 2026 and brings features like CPU/RAM/network controls, background sounds, themes, web shaders, and a 'Hot Tabs Killer'. It can be installed via Ubuntu's App Center, the snap command, or Flathub. DEB and RPM packages remain available from the official website.
