OpenClaw (formerly Clawbot) has shipped a major wave of updates across its GitHub changelog. Key improvements include hybrid BM25 plus vector memory search, nested sub-agents with configurable depth, external secrets management with audit and reload support, a pluggable context engine interface, and a full Dashboard v2 UI refresh with modular views and a command palette. The project also expanded device presence significantly with iOS node apps, Android onboarding overhaul, Apple Watch companion, and share extensions. Infrastructure maturity improved with Docker/Kubernetes health endpoints, backup and restore tooling, config validation, and a starter Kubernetes install path. Local model support was strengthened through first-class Ollama onboarding and multimodal memory indexing. The rename from Clawbot to OpenClaw also brought structural cleanup including npm/CLI scope migration and browser control consolidation.
