OpenAI is partnering with six major Indian higher-education institutions — including IIT Delhi, IIM Ahmedabad, and AIIMS New Delhi — aiming to reach over 100,000 students, faculty, and staff within a year. The initiative provides campus-wide access to ChatGPT Edu tools, faculty training, responsible-use frameworks, and OpenAI-backed certifications at select institutions.
