<p>Agreed. These kinds of language models are awesome for creative tasks because you need to be able to make stuff up if you are to create. It’s frustrating that no one will be able to look under the hood of OpenAI, which is why I hope someone else develops and open-sources an LLM. But I’m not holding my breath considering the cost it incurred on OpenAI to begin with…maybe Emad Mostaque and his team are already doing it with stable diffusion, but it remains an image creation model not a text generation model…</p>


<p>Exactly! I can’t believe Microsoft had this gem on its hand and did what it did with bing. It’s poorly implemented and has a lousy experience, junk information, and precise delivery of less content than ChatGPT versions.</p>
