This release enables seamless handling of millions of HTTP/3 requests per second within production environments such as iCloud Private Relay and Cloudflare’s Oxy proxies.
Built upon quiche’s sans-io design, tokio-quiche offers out-of-the-box async integration with UDP sockets and comprehensive connection management, significantly lowering the entry barrier for developers interested in building QUIC applications. The library employs an actor model architecture and supports the implementation of custom application protocols through its trait system. Additionally, it is pre-equipped with support for HTTP/3 and includes distinct implementations for both client and server setups.
