I’d like to hear other people’s experiences with those frameworks.
In my company we’ve beeing using (probably wrong) SpecFlow for a long time. Its a huge effort to maintain these tests as the complex use cases end up written as a bunch of technical nonsense that it difficult even for the engineers to understand, let alone busines people (they never look at those acceptance tests). There is a lot of hidden “magic” going on for all to work, and when something different needs to be created, all that magic needs to deciphered.
On the positive side, they serve as some kind of documentation that shows the interaction of multiple components.
What do you guys think, is it worth it? How do you use it? The business people really care about those tests?
