ONLYOFFICE 9.4 has been released with a range of new features including Croatian language support, a dedicated Chart Design panel, improved Paste options, horizontal lines in Document Editor, dark mode for Spreadsheet Editor, 25 new presentation themes, 20 slide transitions, and Forms Editor improvements. The release also tightens its AGPLv3 licence language around attribution and trademark use — widely seen as a response to the Euro-Office fork controversy that led to ONLYOFFICE suspending its Nextcloud partnership. Several security vulnerabilities are also patched, including out-of-bounds read flaws in XLS-to-XLSX conversion, a GUID generation weakness, and a macro sandbox bypass.
