One command deploys, there's a Stripe APP for that

Railway has partnered with Stripe to implement Stripe's new Agentic Provisioning Protocol (APP), enabling developers to sign up, set up billing, and deploy infrastructure in a single terminal command. Using the Stripe CLI projects plugin, users can provision PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, object storage, and compute services on Railway without ever touching a dashboard. The post explains why MCP alone wasn't sufficient — it handles tool-calling for existing users but can't handle account creation or billing for new users — and positions APP as the missing layer that takes someone from 'Claude just wrote me an app' to 'it's running in production' in one shot. Railway joins PostHog, Supabase, and Vercel in Stripe's developer preview catalog.
