Omarchy, a Linux distribution based on Arch and Hyprland, has seen rapid development with 18 releases since June 26. The project has grown to 3,500 Discord members and 250 processed pull requests. Recent improvements include an overhauled control menu system that enables keyboard-driven operation without mouse interaction. While acknowledging Linux isn't for everyone due to its learning curve, the author emphasizes it's ideal for those interested in computer adventures and customization.

Omarchy is on the move

I used to think that DHH was so conservative that he would continue using TextMate for a long time, but looking at his recent activities, I realize that I am much more resistant to change than he is. He is definitely an older veteran than me, but I think his attitude of actively embracing new technologies is truly wonderful.

I’m really keen to buy a mini PC to try out Omarchy, and this certainly isn’t helping me save money!

NB: The understanding of vectors as n-tuples of numbers is actually misleading, but it’s a perfectly OK substitute mental model as far as engineering is concerned. The moment you enter functional analysis this understanding disintegrates and nothing makes sense until you learn what a vector really is.

First i run Omarchy on desktop as multiboot option. Then i got rid of multi.
Then i also had to switch laptops since running anything else bothered me.
Now im thinking why on earth im torturing myself writting this comment on android!🤕 and why my fridge UI is so inhumane.
