Independent developer Pavel Ondračkar has fixed occlusion query support in the open-source ATI R300 Gallium3D driver, benefiting R300 through R500 class ATI GPUs. The fix, which avoids the issues of a 2012 attempt that broke HyperZ, has been merged into Mesa 26.1-devel. Pavel is also working on additional fixes including HyperZ
