Obsidian October 2025 is a community event where developers and creators build plugins, themes, vaults, and other Obsidian projects throughout October. The team hosts Discord office hours and provides updated self-assessment checklists for plugins and themes. Obsidian 1.10 beta is being released with new Bases APIs enabling custom view layouts, accompanied by an open source Maps plugin example and a developer guide for building custom views.
