Nvidia has announced DLSS 5, their latest AI-powered upscaling technology that uses color and motion vectors to infuse frames with photorealistic lighting and materials. The announcement received significant backlash from viewers who felt the results looked over-processed and AI-filtered. Nvidia clarified it's not a simple filter and called it their biggest graphics breakthrough since real-time ray tracing in 2018.
