NVIDIA has added official support for RHEL-compatible distributions, including AlmaLinux, with the release of CUDA 13.2. This includes an agreement allowing AlmaLinux to distribute NVIDIA packages directly from its own repositories, eliminating version mismatches between driver and CUDA component releases. CUDA 13.2 itself brings new features such as a spin-wait dispatch mode for host tasks to reduce execution latency, new PTX features, support for new host compilers, and improved C++20 standards conformance in the NVCC compiler.
