Nrtsearch 1.0.0 has been released, featuring major enhancements such as incremental backups to S3 on every commit and switching architecture to use ephemeral local disks instead of EBS volumes, improving replica startup speed and reliability. The release also updates Nrtsearch to Lucene 10 for improved performance and features like vector search using the HNSW algorithm. A redevelopment of state management has made state updates more durable and efficient. New functionality includes advanced vector search capabilities, integration of an aggregation system with parallel search, and extensive plugin support for customized search operations.
