Now Is The Best Time To Learn Java

There is no point in using Java when C# is decades ahead in practically everything especially performance and simplicity

Yes Java now contains features that C# has had for years. Also there is no point in learning Java 24 because if you manage to get a Java job they are definitely still on Java 8

Everyone knows that if you are learning java you are not working on shining new products, but instead will be doing support and maintenance in big corporation ugly code.

Thats surprising, all this Java hate here. I´ve been developing in it for last 10 years in 3 companies (based in CZE, USA, ESP) and all of them had also Java greenfield projects and actively upgrading to Java 17/21 as well. I guess it´s just my bubble.
From my experience - language doesn´t matter. It´s how the code is written. The cleanliness, modularity, scalability depends more on the programmer then language.

Java is the Tanos of programming languages, everytime you think he’s dead, he suddenly come back with new power. Have learnt Java as my first PL since 2020 was my best ever.
