Notion has launched a developer platform that lets teams run AI agents and custom code directly inside their workspace.
The main pieces:

<li>Webhooks - trigger external workflows when things change in Notion.</li>
<li>External agent support - Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex can all connect to your workspace. You can also build custom tools using MCP or your own logic.</li>
<li>Notion CLI - manage everything from the command line.</li>
</ul>
The idea is that Notion becomes the place where you manage all your agents, not just a place to write docs. Whether that framing holds up in practice depends on how well the integrations actually work, but the underlying pieces - live data sync, sandboxed code execution, agent connections - are genuinely useful on their own.
Workers are free until August. The rest of the platform is available on Business and Enterprise plans.
