Norwegian startup 7Analytics has secured €4mn funding to train AI in predicting natural disasters with metre-scale accuracy. The AI can assess risks to individual assets and issue alerts 72 hours in advance. 7Analytics has developed the InzureCloud platform for insurance firms to accurately assess flood risks. The startup already has 40 customers and plans to expand in the US.
