You still belive in no-code, low-code bullshit? Even ChatGPT and other LLM models are spitting up more code than a developer.
Wordpress is also a no-code/ low code for more than 80% of world’s use cases.
I agree that not everything needs a full engineering team but when your apps are business critical and you have lots of users then you need a dedicated engineering teams. Things like security, networks, domain knowledge and tailored needs is what needs an engineering team.
AI will help, just like google and stackoverflow in the old days.

As of now and the near future, no-code tools are nothing but an expensive, dead promise.

I worked for a consultancy company and we provided a solution based business model, for a flexible price you could have a bespoke coded solution OR for cheaper you could get an automation with Zapeier or Mulesoft. Now I maybe biased but those low code solutions suuuuck so bad, the integrations are super limited, if you wanted to allow better features you would have to pay more for the service and support barely existed it was such a mess and what was worse the things and integrations they wanted I could’ve coded that up in under an hour it was so annoying.
I do believe low-code, no-code is a great solution for small things like polling data from a specific service or better yet texting if you don’t know how to code it but anything beyond that be it a website, an app or a very complex business solution, you’d be better off hiring a dev
